The Simulation
Hidden within the Free Life AI website is a browser game. Navigate a shifting maze, discover another way to see it, and uncover its ending. Play with keyboard or touch controls. No account required.
The green square is yours to move. Reach an exit to enter another layer, where a fresh arrangement of obstacles changes your route. As you go deeper, the maze begins to reveal another way of looking at what surrounds you.
The story unfolds while you play. Later layers introduce new controls and questions about the walls, the exit and the choices you make. Explore them at your own pace; the ending is part of the discovery.
The experience runs in your browser without an account or installation. There is no score or time limit. Progress belongs to the current visit; refreshing or restarting begins a new run.
- Keyboard
- Move with WASD or the arrow keys. Use Tab to reach the buttons and Enter or Space to activate them.
- Touch or mouse
- Hold an on-screen directional button to move. On a touchscreen, you can also touch and hold the playfield to move toward that direction.
- Take a break
- Pause the game to stop movement and animation, then resume when you are ready.
- Return
- Use the website link to leave the game and return to Free Life AI. You can visit the game again at any time.
